Seriously, Poker’s Unhealthy For You

Leading a sedentary lifestyle while playing poker is bad for you. Seriously. And this is despite the accelerated heart rate you may achieve during tense moments. Apparently, accelerated heart rate is only good for you when you’re exercising. At other times, it’s bad for you.

Get up and walk around and stop eating those fries and burgers.

    Heh. No argument here, but I’m curious as to what prompted this post.

    In addition to what you said, poker players to play in lots of tournaments and cash games are sitting in a static position for long periods of time. Definitely *not* good for the body.
